If you need a replacement registration code or UHS Reader...
If you want to let us know that your email address has changed...
If your email address has changed and you can't get a replacement code...
If you have purchased a UHS Reader, we can send a replacement of your registration code to the e-mail address that we currently have for you in our database. Please try entering your address below. Include the domain name and don't just give your "screen name" -- for example, type "somebody@aol.com" and not just "somebody".
The message with your replacement code will also include instructions on how to download a new copy of the UHS Reader that matches your registration code, should you need one.
Note: If your e-mail address has changed since you bought the UHS Reader, please read below for further instructions on how to receive a free replacement code. Each registration code is valid for three years from the date of original purchase, so placing a new order will not re-issue your original code, and new orders will be charged to your card accordingly.
If you have purchased a UHS Reader and need to update your e-mail address, please supply both your name and registration code exactly as they were sent to you. Every registration code is assigned to a specific name, and we need the exact name your code was issued to, not just the code number itself. You can locate this information in your original registration code letter, request a replacement registration code in the section above, or look under the "Enter Registration Code" option of the "Register" menu of the UHS Reader for Windows.
Enter your registration name, registration code, and your new e-mail address below. We will update our records accordingly.
If you need a replacement registration code and you don't know the e-mail address you previously gave to us or you can no longer receive mail there, or if you need to change your address and cannot use the automated system above, you must contact us directly -- e-mail support@uhs-hints.com or send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your request to:
Universal Hint System
1220 L Street NW #100-174
Washington, DC 20005
In order to replace your lost code, we will need to verify your first and last name and your postal/mailing address (street, city, etc.) as it would be stored in our database. If you have moved since ordering your UHS Reader, you should provide both your old and new addresses. Please also send any e-mail addresses that you think you may have once used, but we will not accept former e-mail addresses in lieu of your name or postal address.
If you have also lost your copy of the UHS Reader itself, you may download a new copy for free. Enter your registration code to activate the full version of the program. (Without your code, the UHS Reader acts like the shareware version. Both versions use the same program files, but you do need a registration code to get all of the hints available in the full version.)
While we can usually provide free replacement of registration codes as a service to our customers, we do not guarantee that we will be able to extend this service in all circumstances. We therefore strongly recommend that you keep a printed copy of your registration code somewhere -- as you may have already changed computers the next time you need your code.
Free replacements are available only via the methods above. Again, please do not place a new order with the hopes of getting a free replacement of your old registration code.
